Here’s a recent round up of what we’ve spotted on our trail cams recently. 🎥 This time around our sightings included an opossum, raccoon, beaver, foxes, and (as always) deer! 🦫 Let us know if you’ve seen any cool wildlife lately!

Thank you to our friends at Blue Ridge Wildlife Center for joining us at the Boat House this week! Attendees were able to learn about native wildlife and get up close and personal with some of their animal ambassadors.

Not only does Blue Ridge Wildlife Center do incredible educational programs, but they specialize in the rehabilitation of injured, orphaned, and sick wildlife. If you ever stumble across wildlife that seems like it might need some help, they are an excellent resource!

Thanks to all who donated their Christmas trees to us! We ended up with a 24 trees. 🌲

Many of these trees will be going into Cedar Pond in the Greens within the next week or two. Once submerged, the tree will provide shelter to support macroinvertebrates, aquatic vegetation, and small fish. 🐟 The ultimate result? A more dynamic and resilient aquatic ecosystem that supports biodiversity!

Our Community Carrot Harvest last week was such as blast…that we’re doing it again! 🥕 Stop by the Farm on November 12th or 13th to help harvest more carrots. This is fun for all ages, kids and adults alike, and a great opportunity to connect your Farm team. Homeschool groups are welcome to join as well!
