Tinkergarten Returns to Willowsford!

How can you help your kid fall in love with the outdoors and build the habits, connections and skills that help kids thrive throughout life?  The fall season is right around the corner, and now is your chance to experience the engaging outdoor learning kids do at Tinkergarten! Join Stacia at Tinkergarten for the fall series, Body, Mind & Heart!In each lesson, she will lead explorers through play lessons that help kids learn to take risks, embrace change, keep calm, practice gratitude and more!

Annual Bonfire & Camp Over

We have a handful of spots remaining for the Annual Community Bonfire & Camp Over, additional details and registration can be found, here.

Volunteers Needed: We’re in need of several volunteers on September 10th from 5:30 – 7:30 PM. Volunteers will assist with checking in attendees and / or help direct parking. Having a holiday cookout?!  Grab your supplies from your Agrihood! The Farm Stand is stocked with a variety of fresh local food perfect for a neighborhood cookout: watermelon, potatoes, peppers, tomatoes, carrots, greens, eggplant, and more. Several meat cuts are also available for the grill: steak, hamburger patties, chicken, and brats.

Volunteer Opportunities

Tree Planting : Partnership with Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy
On October 8 the Conservancy team will be partnering with LWC to plant 300 native trees and shrubs in The Greens with aim to further protect the watershed around Bull Run stream. We’re looking for 50+ volunteers. If interested please register via LWC, here. Farm Stand CSA Host

Programs & Events

Wildflower Discovery Walk
Stroll through Beaver Dam Pond Meadows with our Land Stewardship team and learn about the Conservancy’s various meadows and how to identify the diverse landscape of wildflowers. Suitable for all ages. All ages are welcome, parents required to accompany children under 13. Register, here

CSA Dinner Series – In Partnership With HOA
Are Chef Emily is joining forces with the Conservancy to highlight the current seasonal abundance coming from Willowsford Farm and their local partners. Chef Gabe will also be on-hand to share Farm happenings and products. This four-course dinner will be served family style with house wines. Registration is available, here

Wagon Ride Farm Tours
