Worm Compost for Kids!

Nick with Apex Organix talks with kids and parents alike about the importance of compost, how it helps grow healthy food and more. Attendees will get to feel the soil, feed the worms, observe the difference between composted soil and non (think new construction site!) and take home Willowsford potted transplants to compare growth and progress. All ages are welcome, parents required to accompany children under 13. This session will be held at the Willowsford Farm Stand between 10 – 11 AM, Saturday, August 6.
