Community Bonfire & Camp-Over 

Fall time means camping and bonfires with your friends! Join us for our popular annual community bonfire and camp-over in the scenic Hidden Meadow. Get outside and join your Willowsford neighbors for a memorable night beneath the stars. Jam out to live music, warm up by the bonfire &  enjoy delicious barbecue from Willard’s Pit BBQ available from 6:30 to 9:30 PM.

Registration is required and includes barbecue from Willard’s Pit BBQ, all the sides, hot beverages, dessert and more. Additional details and registration can be found on our website, here.

Brunch at the Farm Stand

Looking for easy Saturday brunch plans? You’re in luck!

Seafood at the Shack will be at the Farm Stand next Saturday, 8/27 from 9 AM – 1 PM. They’re preparing all the brunch favorites with a Caribbean twist, specially curated for the Willowsford community – get ready for lobster upside down corn cakes, crab stuffed plantains, shrimp and grits, fried jerk chicken and waffles, and more!

Volunteer Opportunities

Tree Planting : Partnership with Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy
On October 8 the Conservancy team will be partnering with LWC to plant 300 native trees and shrubs in The Greens with aim to further protect the watershed around Bull Run stream. We’re looking for 50+ volunteers. If interested please register via LWC, hereEgg Wash & Pack
This volunteer will wash, pack and label our Farm fresh eggs. This role requires a frequent commitment (ideally at minimum twice a month) and can be more fun with company, so invite your friends to join you for an EGGciting time! Sign up here

Programs & Events

Woodland Walk
Take a walk with our Land Stewardship team around Pinewoods loop and learn about the diverse trees that exist on Conservancy land and what purpose they serve for the local biome.

Wildflower Discovery Walk
Stroll through Beaver Dam Pond Meadows with our Land Stewardship team and learn about the Conservancy’s various meadows and how to identify the diverse landscape of wildflowers. Suitable for all ages. All ages are welcome, parents required to accompany children under 13. Register, here
