Spring Wildflower Walk

Join Conservancy Staff for a guided walk along Bull Run Overlook to see some of our earliest spring wildflowers. This hike will begin at the parking area near Cedar Pond Pavilion (at the end of Cullen Run Place) and we will hike out to Beaver Dam Pond and back along Bull Run Overlook. This hike will be approximately 2 miles in length and take us around 1 hour. Along our hike expect to see spring ephemeral wildflowers like Virginia Bluebells, spring beauty, mayapples, and more.

As with all hikes, we’ll also keep an eye out for birds and other wildlife. Bring a pair of binoculars if you have them! Be sure to wear close-toed shoes suitable for hiking and bring water.

When: Sunday, April 12th from 9am-10am

Where: The parking area near Cedar Pond Pavilion located at the end of Cullen Run Place
