Join Willowsford Conservancy for hands-on volunteer mornings supporting our native plant nursery and land stewardship work. This is a relaxed, outdoor opportunity to learn about native plants, get your hands in the soil, and help grow and maintain habitat across Willowsford.

This time of year, our native plants are ready to be transplanted from seed trays into larger pots. Volunteers will help with potting young plants, gentle greenhouse care, weeding, and other nursery projects. We also rotate in stewardship tasks such as light field work, sign painting, log splitting, and habitat support projects.

No experience is needed, just a willingness to work outdoors and get a little dirty.

This is a recurring volunteer opportunity held every other Friday through the summer, 9–11 AM at Fleetwood Barn.

All ages are welcome. Volunteers under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Because many plants are small and delicate, this opportunity is best suited for participants who can handle careful, hands-on work.

Space is limited at our greenhouse and barn so please RSVP HERE if you plan to attend!

What to Bring/Wear: Older clothes, gardening gloves, boots, water bottle, hat
Date: every Friday
Time: 9 AM – 11 AM

Directions/Parking: This opportunity will take place at our Fleetwood Barn located at 23516 Fleetwood Road. Park next to the main building and our team will meet you to get you oriented for the projects for the session.
