Applications are now being accepted for Wine Down for a Cause – a fundraiser which will be held on Thursday, October 9th from 4 PM to 7 PM at the Willowsford Farm Stand (23595 Founders Drive, Ashburn, VA 20148). We are seeking 6-8 wineries to join us at the event to help us raise funds and also enable you to reach new customers.
The event will be a mini wine festival that will take place during our regular weekly farm stand market, but with several of you providing wine tastings, selling bottles of wine for on-site consumption, food trucks, and live music. It will be a fundraiser, hosted by Willowsford Farm and Stroll Willowsford, to raise funds for the Dulles South Food Pantry’s new Produce Fund. The fund will enable DSFP to augment their annual budget with additional funds to source organic vegetables from our Farm (in addition to the thousands of pounds of produce we already and will keep donating to them each year). It is a great new partnership to help bring nutritious food to DSFP guests from our community.
