Apply to Join the Community Advisory Committee
The Willowsford Conservancy Board of Trustees is seeking residents interested in serving on its Community Advisory Committee (CAC). The committee provides an important opportunity for residents to share their perspectives, contribute ideas, and help guide the Conservancy’s work.
As we prepare for the year ahead, the CAC will play a valuable advisory role in several key areas, including:
-
Strategic Planning: Providing community input as the Conservancy develops its 2027–2031 Strategic Plan.
-
Funding and Sustainability: Exploring opportunities to diversify funding sources and strengthen the Conservancy’s long-term financial sustainability.
-
Programs and Operations: Offering perspectives on land stewardship, habitat conservation, farm operations, environmental education, and community engagement.
Who Should Apply?
We welcome applications from residents with a variety of backgrounds, experiences, skills, and interests. No particular professional expertise is required—just an interest in supporting the Conservancy’s mission and contributing to its future. We strive for representation from all four Willowsford villages—The Grange, The Grove, The Grant, and The Greens—and will consider geographic diversity when filling available seats.
Time Commitment
Committee members will serve a one-year term, from early November 2026 through early November 2027. Participation includes several meetings throughout the year, opportunities to tour Conservancy facilities and operations, and occasional involvement in special projects.
Estimated time commitment: 2–4 hours per month.
