| Greetings from the Farm,Welcome to the 2023 Summer CSA program! We’ve been busy with preparations, and we wanted to get some FAQ out of the way
Ordering Cycle: Last year we implemented an ordering cycle for the Summer CSA, and we are continuing the cycle this year. Each week the Online Farm Store will open for ordering on Thursday – announced in the Farm Newsletter. You will have until 12 noon on Sunday to place your order, the Online Farm Store will then close to give us time to harvest, wash and pack the orders. Your order will be ready for pickup or delivery according to your selected fulfillment. Example: an order placed on Thursday, May 11th with Saturday pickup will be ready on Saturday, May 20th. To recap: The Online Farm Store will open on Thursdays and close for ordering at 12pm Sunday, with fulfillment beginning the following Thursday
Every Other Week: If you signed up for an Every Other Week Farmer’s Choice and/or Egg share, you will be receiving your A Week/B Week assignments today. In a separate email, you’ll receive all your Every Other Week fulfillment dates. If you need to make adjustments, please reply to the email or email farm@willowsfordfarm.com and we can assist you.
Full Season: If you signed up for a Full Season Farmer’s Choice and/or Egg share, you will be receiving your full season fulfillment dates in the section below. If you need to make adjustments, please reply to this email or email farm@willowsfordfarm.com and we can assist you.
Flower Share: If you signed up for a Flower Share, you will be receiving your full season fulfillment dates in the section below, the Flower Share is only 20 weeks and ends mid October. If you need to make adjustments, please reply to this email or email farm@willowsfordfarm.com and we can assist you.
Custom/ A La Carte Option: If you intend to participate as a Custom shareholder (also known as ordering a la carte), you will simply need to log in to the Online Farm Store for the weeks you want to order. We will have two hiatus weeks for the Fourth of July and Labor Day, so fulfillments will not be available for those weeks during the Summer Season.
