Greetings from the Farm,
We made it! It’s been a hard day’s night and we’ve been working like dogs…but it’s all come together now. Not a moment too soon, here comes the sun and hopefully the weather holds for our Farm Stand opening on May 18th.
This Weeks Cycle: The Online Farm Store is open for business! We’re getting back into the groove of the CSA, which means the ordering cycle is now in effect. Check back over the weekend, as we add new products! Place your order between Thursday may 11th and Sunday May 14th by 12pm for fulfillment on May 18/19/20.
All You Need is Love: And vegetables! This year, you’ll notice some changes on the Online Farm Store. We’ll be offering more partner products, and any produce that is supplied through Lancaster Farms and Beechwood Orchard will be prominently labeled. The only thing that isn’t changing is our prices, we’ve chosen not to follow inflation trends and keep costs the same as last year. We believe that being part of an agri-hood means accessible, not just available.
Garlic Fields Forever: The garlic is growing, and we’re offering green garlic on the store this week. As we get further in the season, garlic scapes and cured heads will become available. For now we recommend a taste of eating in season: try the Spring Salad with Green Garlic Dressing recipe below!
Reminder: We will be having a Farm Stand Opening Celebration on Thursday May 18th, 4pm-7pm at the Farm Stand in the Grange. This event is open to the public and will feature tastings from some of our partners: Harvest Symphony Bakery, Ayreshire Farms and Village Cheeseworks. Our friends, KT Pizza will also be joining us! Check out some new products at the Farm Stand, say hi to friends old and new and celebrate the start of Farm Stand season!
