We currently have two open seats on the Conservancy’s Board of Trustees. Learn more and apply below.

  • Board of Trustees: The governing body of the Conservancy, can be comprised of up to seven members, and sets the direction and budget for the non-profit. Being a Trustee is a significant time commitment, requiring several hours per month and physical attendance at meetings throughout the year. There are four to five in-person meetings, two meetings with the HOA board, and several additional discussions (all meetings are typically held from 5:30 to 7:30 pm). We would like to invite residents to apply for the two open board seats. We are particularly interested in candidates with financial, accounting, nonprofit, or fundraising experience, and/or experience working in public education or partnering with LCPS. Individuals who applied in the past, as well as new candidates, are encouraged to apply. Applications are due by EOD on Sunday, May 11.
  • Residents and non-residents can be members of our board, so if you know of anyone who would be a good fit, please recommend them (or even better, put them in touch!) We encourage anyone interested in joining our board to read our Strategic Plan: “Planting the Future”.
