Native Plant Nursery & Land Stewardship Volunteer Session
May 29 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am
An event every week that begins at 9:00 am on Friday, repeating until August 14, 2026
Join us for a weekly volunteer work session at the Native Nursery and with our Land Stewardship team! It’s that time of year where our plants have outgrown their seeding trays and are ready to be transplanted. Volunteers will help transplant plugs into larger pots or help with weeding or other special nursery projects and should be prepared to get their hands dirty. Each week, we also will have a land stewardship project such as log splitting, painting signs, or heading out into the field with us. We will always meet at the Fleetwood Barn (see address below).
All ages are welcome to attend, but children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Many plants are small and may require gentle handling, this opportunity may not a good fit for young children who could struggle with this. This will be a recurring volunteer activity, every other Friday through the summer!
Space is limited at our greenhouse and barn so please RSVP HERE if you plan to attend!
What to Bring/Wear: Older clothes, gardening gloves, boots, water bottle, hat
Date: every Friday
Time: 9 AM – 11 AM
Directions/Parking: This opportunity will take place at our Fleetwood Barn located at 23516 Fleetwood Road. Park next to the main building and our team will meet you to get you oriented for the projects for the session.
