Join us for a volunteer work session at the Native Nursery! It’s that time of year where our plants have outgrown their seeding trays and are ready to be transplanted. Volunteers will help transplant plugs into larger pots and should be prepared to get their hands dirty. All ages are welcome to attend, but children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Many plants are small and may require gentle handling, this opportunity may not a good fit for young children who could struggle with this. This is a great opportunity for high school students seeking volunteer hours as this is a day that LCPS has off of school.

Space is limited at our greenhouse so please RSVP below if you plan to attend!

What to Bring/Wear: Older clothes, gardening gloves, boots, water bottle, hat
Date: Friday, April 4th
Time: 10-12pm

Directions/Parking: This opportunity will take place at our Fleetwood Barn located at 23516 Fleetwood Road. Park next to the main building and we’ll have a space set up for transplanting next to the small greenhouse to the right of the building.
