Invasive Removal Workday at Banshee Reeks Nature Preserve

Willowsford Conservancy and Banshee Reeks Nature Preserve are partnering together to put on a series of volunteer work days aimed to help us eradicate some pesky invasives before summer arrives!
On this day, volunteers will gather at Banshee Reeks Nature preserve to remove invasive garlic mustard – and then eat it! After pulling the mustard, we will demonstrate how to use the leaves to make tasty pesto. Volunteers can try a sample or make their own take-home pesto. All ages are welcome to participate but must be able to walk a mile to/from the site.
This day is a day LCPS is off school and great opportunity for students to get some volunteer hours.
