Join us for a fun-filled day at the Farm Stand to celebrate back-to-school on Saturday, August 17th from 9AM-1PM! On top of being able to stock up on lunchbox favorites like cherry tomatoes, sweet snacking peppers, and Kinloch beef sticks, we’ll have lots of opportunities for fun & learning throughout the day:
  • Wagon Ride Farm Tours with Farmer Andy at 10AM, 11AM, and 12PM.
  • A few of our laying hens will be visiting us down at the Farm Stand! You’ll have the opportunity to meet, pet, or even hold a hen and learn a bit from Farmer Anna about the role they play on the Farm.
  • Meet our Beekeeper, Chris, and learn about our hives during the Wagon Rides
  • Browse our selection of native plants and learn from Sam, about their importance and how to incorporate them into your garden
  • Explore the creek near the Farm Stand with Sarah for a mini lesson about stream ecology at 9:30AM and 11:30AM. Bring water shoes to splash around and catch some critters in the creek to look at under our microscope!
Plus we’ll have free samples, plenty of lawn games, and free Freeze Pops while supplies last!
