CSA + Online Farm Stand Hiatus Next Week

 
Farmer Ben shares how he’d use the food from the share this week,
CSA 4th of July scheduled hiatus announcement, and a reminder to
shop the Willowsford Farm stand!

Greetings from the Farm Team,This time of year, is a favorite for the Farm team – a time when the spring crops start fading and the summer heat tolerant crops are just starting to ripen. Because of this natural seasonal transition in the garden the Farm team takes a scheduled CSA hiatus. This hiatus serves the team by freeing up time to focus on getting ahead of the summer weeds to ensure a long and bountiful harvest of things like tomatoes, eggplant, kale, collards, and a wide variety of other crops. 

Because of the pre-scheduled hiatus there are no CSA or Online Farm Stand deliveries Thursday, July 7 or Friday, July 8. 

If you find yourself missing your organic love you can still keep your refrigerator well stocked by shopping at the Farm Stand Thursday from 4 – 7 PM or Saturday from 9 – 1 PM. Check out the calendar of events for additional details and opportunities, here.
