Welcome to week 22, it’s the last week of the 2024 Summer Season and we’ve had a great run! This year we’ve had more folks involved with our CSA than 2023! After our successful Support Your Agrihood canvassing campaign, our CSA participation is up 20%! It’s an amazing feeling to be a part of the World’s Greatest Agrihood and we love our part in growing the roots of this community.

The Mini Farm Stand at the Boat House has also been a success! We’ll be continuing this shopping opportunity throughout the Winter season – catch Farmer Anna at the Boat House during CSA pick up with a full selection of winter veggies, eggs, pantry products and more.

Harvest Market this Saturday:  We’re closing out the end of our 2024 Summer Farm Stand season with our second annual Harvest Market this Saturday, October 26th. Join us at the Farm Stand between 9am-1pm to browse dozens of craft booths, sample partner products, take a wagon ride and enjoy fun kid’s activities for fall! The first 150 families through the gate will get a FREE Willowsford Tote bag and we have plenty of free pumpkins to spread the Harvest Market cheer. We’ll have plenty of parking available at Sycamore House and along Founders Drive – invite your neighbors and friends, this event is free and open to the public!

Community Carrot Harvest Opportunity: Join the Farm Team on Wednesday, October 30th for a carrot harvesting activity! Drop in anytime during our two time blocks: 8:30am-12pm or 1pm-3:30pm to help pull and top carrots in the field. This is a great activity for elementary schoolers and older, but all ages are welcome. Be prepared to get dirty with a fun hands-on experience at the Farm! More details on our events page here.

Have you noticed Lancaster Eggs as part of your share? We will be supplementing our CSA with Non-GMO eggs from hens that are raised by the same standards that we raise ours.
