Greetings from the Farm,It’s been chilly this week, but the chickens are nice and warm! The heated coop construction has been completed, and the ladies are living in the lap of luxury. Open For Business: The Online Farm Store is open for ordering! Place your order by 12pm Sunday Nov 27, for fulfillment on Wednesday Nov 30 and Thursday Dec 1.
Giving Thanks: It’s the season of gratitude and we’re grateful for you! Without our CSA members, we wouldn’t be able to do what we do. We appreciate your dedication to sustainability and we love being a part of such a diverse and robust community that cares deeply about the environment. We also would like to express our intense gratitude for our network of volunteers. Our volunteers continue to help Willowsford Farm thrive, from egg washing, CSA packing and distribution to helping build the new coop (CHEERS TO YOU JOHN!). We’re forever thankful for your dedication and donation of your time!
Reminder: Winter CSA distribution has shifted to Wednesday and Thursday. Pick Up will be next Wednesday (Nov 30) at the Boathouse and Farm Stand. Home Delivery South will be Wed Nov 30 and Home Delivery North will be Thurs Dec 1. If you aren’t sure which fulfillment option you selected, please email farm@willowsfordfarm.com!
Anyway You Slice It: KT Pizza will be at the Boathouse next Wednesday from 4pm-6pm during our Winter CSA pickup! Stop by and enjoy a slice! Check out their website for some drool-worthy pics.
