Nature-Based Camp Offering



We’re excited to announce that the Willowsford Conservancy is teaming up with Natural Leaders to bring a week of nature-based camp to Willowsford this July! While we work on infrastructure improvements to bring back in-house camp options in the future, such as the beloved Farm Camp, we’re grateful to have Natural Leaders join us to bring their incredible and immersive program to our community. 

The Ultimate Explorer Summer Day Program is an outdoor drop-off camp that meets Monday through Friday. Students will have the time of their lives exploring the wilds of Willowsford and making friendships while developing self-reliance skills they will carry with themselves forever. From hiking trails and exploring creeks to learning primitive survival skills like shelter building and fire making, this camp is perfect for any kid ready for outdoor adventure!

When: July 22nd-26th from 9 am to 4 pm daily

Guided Amphibian Walk
A collaboration between the Willowsford Land Stewardship team and the Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy   Volunteer Jenny Erickson will guide a walk around Spring Peeper Pond to learn about the various amphibians that live in Willowsford’s ponds and waterways. FREE and open to all ages, but especially fun for young ones.

Camping & Amenity Rentals
Throughout the community, Willowsford Conservancy offers unique places to enjoy nature up close, to relax, and to rent for events like family picnics, birthday parties and camp-outs. The Conservancy offers three venues: Grant Family Campground, Hidden Meadow Campground and the Cedar Pond Pavilion. All three have a unique and opportunity to explore and engage outdoors from May 1 to October 31.
