DESCRIPTION:Take a walk with Taryn\, our Land Stewardship Director\, around Pinewoods Loop Trail in the Grove. This 2 mile trail offers a lot of ecological diversity in a relatively short hike\, from hardwood forests\, to pinewoods\, and meadows. As part of this hike\, Taryn will teach you about the local ecosystems\, the trees\, and give some insight into how the Conservancy manages our trails and open space. \nWe will meet at the trail connector on Wateroak Pl. There is street parking available and additional parking just down the street at Twin Ponds Park. \nThis guided hike is part of our 2024 Hiking Spree! After your hike\, don’t forget to log your hikes for a chance to win prizes!
