With the return of the Conservancy’s Native Plant sale, dedicate some extra space to your own favorite foods!
In addition to a wide selection of native plants from Watermark Woods plant nursery, Willowsford Farm will sell veggie and flower seedlings for you to transplant to your own home garden beds and containers. These starter plants are grown from non-GMO seeds in our special compost mix, right alongside the Certified Organic veggies for our farm shares. We’ll have hot and sweet peppers, heirloom and cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, broccoli, kale, lettuces, and herbs. Our greenhouse is also full of sunflowers, nasturtiums, zinnias, cosmos, and marigolds. Your gardens will be as beautiful as they are delicious!
Stop by the Farm Stand on Founder’s Drive on Sunday, May 2 from 9:00 am-2:00 pm, to pick up native plants, flower and vegetable seedlings. Landscape professionals, farm staff and volunteers will be on hand to assist with plant selection and gardening advice.
When purchasing plants, we recommend placing crates, cardboard boxes and/or a plastic liner in your car to keep plants upright during transport and protect cars from soil and moisture.
