Rain. Yesterday was surprisingly warm despite the wind, but now it’s cold as we harvest in the rain. A nice day for soup. And what do you know… it’s All About Soup this week.
Special this week in your shares: our own Sauerkraut made by Sweet Farm with Willowsford ingredients. This is a traditional sauerkraut – cabbage, sea salt, and organic caraway seeds. I snacked on it last night just kraut and potato chips then had to make myself a Reuben.
Sauerkraut like this is made using traditional fermentation methods. This creates a naturally fermented product. Meaning better taste and very healthful. Let us know what you think!
