Week 10 – 7/22/2015
This week in your share, where’s the greens?  It’s hot, real hot and greens are out this week. We expect to see them again next week. Lettuce is coming back soon, too!
 
Please allow us to offer new potatoes in the stead.  New potatoes, or potatoes fresh out of the ground, are fantastic. Unlike potatoes that have cured and will store for months, these potatoes are thin-skinned and won’t store long. They are smooth to cut and cook nicely and quickly. This week you’ll see new Yukon Golds, a yellow skinned, yellow flesh variety.   
 
And let us also add, to large shares, a jar of relish made by Sweet Farm Sauerkraut with our pickling cucumbers. Fresh! Zesty! We love it – tell us what you think!
