Our 2018 pork is back from one processor and on the way from another. Why send pigs two different places? Well, there are two big reasons. Animal welfare, product offerings, availability dates, and learning. I guess that’s four, huh?
We heard about a wonderful processor, T & E Meats, and wanted to try them out this year, but we also know that you guys LOVE the maple sausage that we made with Hoffman’s last year and T & E doesn’t cure bacon, so we split up the pigs and are happy to be getting all the most popular meats back.
New to the sausage line-up this year is Garlic Bratwurst. Maybe the fifth reason we wanted to check out T & E. It has gotten rave reviews and we have plenty for sale. Also in stock right now: Chorizo, Hot Italian Sausage, Ground Pork, Pork Tenderloin, Spare Ribs, Boston Butt, Shoulder Roast, Loin Roast, Side Meat and Breakfast Sausages.
