DESCRIPTION:Join the team as we prepare the Farm Stand in The Grange for the start of our summer season! This volunteer opportunity is a great way to spend some time outdoors\, connect with neighbors\, and help get the space ready for a busy and exciting season ahead. \nVolunteers will assist with a variety of tasks to freshen up the area\, including \n\nCleaning and sweeping surfaces\nWiping out the coolers\nWeeding our native plant beds.\n\nWhether you have a little time to lend or want to stay for the full event\, every bit of help makes a difference in getting the Farm Stand ready. Please come dressed in clothes you don’t mind getting a little dirty and bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated. \nRSVP below to let us know you’ll be joining us\, we’d love to have your help!

SUMMARY:Intro to Archery
DESCRIPTION:Intro to Archery\n***Participation is limited to Willowsford Residents & Guests***\nA small class\, with high instructor/student ratio\, which covers topics including an introduction to the Willowsford Archery Club\, shooting styles\, safety\, eye dominance assessment\, basic shooting technique\, and equipment purchase advice. \nAfter 30-45 minutes of discussion\, participants will have 75-90 minutes to shoot\, supported by the class instructors. All equipment will be provided (bows\, arrows\, finger tabs\, arm guards).  If you have your own equipment\, you are welcome to use it during the class. The cost for a ticket is $35 per person.  Children under 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult.  So\, a parent coming with two children will need 3 tickets. \nThe minimum age to participate is 8 years old. The class will be held rain or shine. \nWhen: Saturday\, May 9th from 12pm-2:30pm \nWhere: Willowsford Archery Range located at the end of Cullen Run Place in The Greens \nPlease note that ticket sales are non-refundable. \nThis class is managed by the Willowsford Archery Club. Many different habitats at Willowsford Conservancy makes this an ideal place to find a wide variety of butterflies. Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy’s Anne Ellis will lead a walk along the Farm Loop Trail in search of Monarchs\, Tiger Swallowtails\, Eastern Tailed Blues\, and many other native beauties. \nWhen: Saturday\, July 18th\, 9:30AM-11:30AM \nWhere: We’ll meet at the Farm Stand in The Grange located at 23595 Founders Drive\, Ashburn\, VA. \nThis program is family friendly but best suited for ages 5+.
