Eastern bluebirds are a welcome sight to many birders as their colorful plumage signals the beginning of the avian nesting season. Land Stewardship Manager Patrick Boleman will lead a walk along our network of bluebird nest boxes in the Grove to discuss bluebirds and other cavity nesting birds as well as the importance of providing artificial nesting structures. With luck we will see some bluebirds beginning their nesting for the season!
